Honest is amazing. Fact. Delicious juicy burgers, tasty specials and rosemary fries but best of all, unlike Bryon and MEATliquor it does gluten free buns and beer!
Last Saturday me and a couple of friends tried out the Peckham branch and as always, it was brilliant. I had the Honest (beef, red onion, smoked bacon, cheddar, pickled cucumber and lettuce) with a gluten free bun and a bottle of Daura Damm Gluten Free (one of my favourite GF lagers). It’s £1 extra for a gluten free bun which you can’t complain about considering the quality of the burger itself.
Honest Peckham on a Saturday is of course very busy, so there was a bit of a wait for a table. We killed the time in The Hope, a lovely bar about 10 mins from Honest and as luck should have it also sells Daura Damm Gluten Free!
Honest has restaurants across London, so no matter where you are you should always be nearish a place to enjoy a totally glutenless burger. As well as Peckham, I’ve visited the Portobello, Covent Garden, Kings Cross and Brixton branches and they always deliver on flavour and service.
